When performing high-pressure washing, mainly 4 factors should be taken into account:
- scope
- pressure
- jet width
- distance from the impact surface
On the correct choice of nozzle depends the effectiveness and proper operation of the high-pressure equipment.
- When the nozzle is too small the water is continuously recycled
- When the nozzle is too large the water pumped has a lower pressure
Procedure for correct nozzle selection.
The pressure (bar) and flow rate (lit/min) of the washing unit must be known. e.g. 40 lit/min – 80 bar
- Select in the technical data table the column corresponding to the pressure value (“80”)
- Select the row that is closest to the flow rate value of the washing unit (“40.3”)
- The first column reads the nozzle size (“20”)
- The item to be selected is then corresponding to code 77907.NFP20
