BJV and WGR heads can be fitted with radial port extensions that bring the jets as close as possible to the walls to be cleaned.
The head configuration (number and length of extensions) is at the customer’s discretion based on operational requirements.
Extensions with lengths between 51 and 914 mm are available.
The advantage of using this configuration is that the jets are continuously directed at the walls, which makes it much more effective and safer than nozzles with three-dimensional rotation.
The WGC, WGA and WGR nozzles can also be used for cleaning large horizontal pipes, particularly where roots are present or where particularly aggressive cleaning against the pipe walls is required: in this case the use of the centring guide (5370.20) is mandatory and it can be useful to pull the nozzle and guide from the upstream sump by means of a rope secured to a tow hook (ST.HC090) to be fixed to the nozzle head (BJV head only).
